Inactive users
People leave, change jobs or stop using the system, and their licenses usually stay assigned. Kourx lists every enabled user who hasn't signed in within the number of days you choose, along with the license they still hold.

Role license analysis and over-licensed users
In D365 Finance and Operations, the license a user needs depends on the security roles they're assigned. Kourx works out what each role requires, then compares it with what each user is licensed for. Anyone paying for a higher license than their roles need is flagged.

Duplicate and test accounts
Rehires, name changes and test accounts created during projects often end up holding a paid license in production. Kourx finds repeat identities and test or generic accounts so you can clean them up.

Kourx Insights
Kourx Insights is the summary page inside D365. It shows totals from the latest scan, links to each report, and the scan history, so you can see whether license waste is going down after your team takes action.
Install once, then it runs every week
Scan starts
On a weekly schedule, or when someone selects Run now.
Kourx reads D365
Users, security roles and sign-in history. Nothing is changed.
Licenses are checked
Each user's license is compared with what their roles require.
Results appear
In Kourx Insights and the four reports.

Remove or lower licenses using your normal process.

Kourx doesn't use an outside service, so there's no data export or third-party connection to approve.
No data leaves D365
The scan and the results stay inside your environment. Kourx never receives your user data.

Kourx only reads users, roles and sign-ins. License changes are made by your own admins.
